LOVE this one. Bright, colorful illustrations; simple rhyming text that is fun and engaging for both reader and child. Siebert has a lovely ear for rhythm in her lines, a nice bonus for anyone who likes poetry.

Did some light research and turns out Paul Rand is someone others may have heard of :), but this is the only work of his I am familiar with. It's enough to make me a big fan! This book is a treasure for any lover of poetry and art, and is a perfect example of how a book can truly be for all ages. We will keep this on our permanent shelf.
